  • Is there a rule of thumb for working out a decent tyre pressure? I've just run all of my tyres for road riding at 80psi for years (probably because someone on lufguss told me to and it felt ok).

  • Isn’t the rule of thumb your weight in kgs minus 10%? Or did I make that up?

  • Depends what size tyres, your weight, surface you're riding on, and how you like em to feel.
    As an example, I'm 68kgs, ride 32mm tyres, mostly on road, 45psi front, 50psi rear (give or take, don't think my pump gauge is that accurate).

    Says it’s for zipp but not sure why it wouldn’t give you a good starting point for other wheels
