@Soul great result, a lot must come down to keeping it in a good condition?
With all the talk of vans the last few weeks I really enjoyed this

Definitely doesn't hurt. It was also the most sought after model with the right engine, trim and extras so was always going to sell quickly.
Was surprised how much I got for it too. Around £2.5k more than I was expecting which is a result.
Speaking of results, Tesla has announced a Model 3 refresh today with 5% extra range, power boot, laminated glass, chrome delete (black window trim / door handles), heat exchange pump, redesigned centre console tunnel bit in matte rather than gloss plastic and 0.2 sec quicker to 60 (now 4.2 sec).
Got an email this morning confirming mine, arriving in November, is of the new spec which is great.
Probably 5 weeks until it arrives.

I wrote some words and took some pics which explain my recent stance on Lupos
https://www.garagemidnight.com/warm-hatch-world-cup-snetterton/
I was actually incorrect about 1.0 Lupos, it's a 1.4 non GTi @hugo7

Was more of a flippant comment as crodino is alcohol free.
-
• #58964
Well that was a double fail on my behalf as first thought you meant was the coach work done by Cordino

That's technically my first piece that's actually made it out of my laptop. I've got a few other stories I'm writing but nothing else I can share.
I'm glad people like it, nice to have positive feedback!

Aye.
Resin based.
Pretty pleased for a first bash.
:o)

Why is it a fail? I only know about it as I was given it as a child, and didn't like it. Not sure crodino is easily available outside Italy/France. Thought that by mentioning aperol instead of campari was due to aperol being half the alcoholic content of campari.

What does a chap buy after an Aston Martin DB9?
What offers that combination of power, torque, refinement, engineering excellence, build quality, beauty and elegance?
Nothing? Ok. We spent the sale price on a new house in France, so new question: what is left hand drive, British registered, and available right now?
That’ll be this diesel Focus then.

Lamborghini Gallardo.

Er, close second? I'm trying to work on my soft skills and become more of a people person...

I don't know anything about track days and car culture really but I enjoyed reading your piece, thanks.

I mentioned Campari as that is > Aperol. I thought you were mentioning another traditional Italian alcoholic drink which I didn’t realise wasn’t alcoholic and thought you were talking car designers ?!?

Lupo Sports normally have an AFK or AUB 1.4 16v with 100bhp depending on year, AFK’s are uncommon though and only in early cars.
The roller rocker cylinder heads are rubbish.

Yeah love that dude. Was very tempted by this little Fiat that was at the anglia car auction back in june

That was a great read. Reminds me of how speedhunters used to be way way back when. Proper grassroots car shindigs instead of cars by numbers and show boats.
More please
Velar was paid for and collected this morning - super painless.
Definitely recommend Motorway.com.
