  • Are there any self-adhesive patches that actually work? I tend to just replace tubes instead of mend them, but I had three flats in rapid succession as I kept finding new pieces of glass in my tyre so I gave the Cordo (Dutch brand) self-adhesive patches I keep in my kit bag as a backup to my backup tube a go, and they lasted somewhere between 10 seconds and 10 minutes. Are the Park Tool patches good? Or the Schwalbe ones? Or should I just go back to bulkier glue-on patches as a backup to my backup?

  • I've used both Lezyne and Park mostly without issue.

Neither of them worked in TransAm up fucking McKenzie pass in the damp cold air of the forest. Gotta love watching everyone ride past you, while trying every trick in the book and every patch and tube in your kit to solve one mystery fucking issue.
