• Yep, I know that. My point was there's no way to know what area and what restrictions will be in place at any one time. This just allows me to still see people in the case that garden meet ups are still allowed, which they are in London for the time being.

  • For a quick check on what restrictions are in place:

garden meetups till about the time when the announcements are made.
Currently, the rates in London are higher than rates in countries we made people quarantine on return from their holidays. terrible sentence that.

    Rate

  • Currently, the rates in London are higher than rates in countries we made people quarantine on return from their holidays.

I've seen similar comments a lot over the last few weeks. I think on the surface it seems backwards, but really it's sensible, no? Quarantining still stops anyone bringing it back and spreading it further, adding to the already high rate.

  • Yeah, I've been keeping an eye on that. We haven't been letting anyone stay in the house regardless, hence the gazebo now the weather is shit, if we go into lockdown and can't have garden meet ups then I'll pack it down (takes about 15 mins) but at least we'll have the option when restrictions are lifted.

Another reason why I said we don't know what the restrictions will be is that this shit show of a government àre just as likely to sack everything off that they announce today by this time next week.
