There is. Most headset bearings have a 36° chamfer on the inner race as that's the TH/FSA and Cane Creek way. That boutique manufacturers have chosen to go their own way is their business.

As far as the component industry is concerned, you are not an important customer, bike assemblers are. If you ordered a thousand forks, you could choose the chamfer angle for yourself 🙂
