I got a Carradry saddle bag for my birthday but when fitted to the saddle it sits a long way forward and under the saddle so it rubs constantly on my thighs, so looking for a bagman support. there is an expedition one on eBay- is this suitable?

There are two sizes, expedition is bigger. The Carradice website tells you which size is suitable for which bag. But I use the expedition on a smaller bag without problem. It works well

Have found the 9l audax to be perfect for most the riding I'm doing. I only overfilled it occasionally. Am tempted to buy a 2nd one next summer and mount it to the bars for single night trips. I've seen the Kickflix used up thread, what other options for mounting to bars are there? The sensible option is to buy a handlebar bag of course.

I can't remember which one I bought in the end, but a word of warning: the flap on the underside of the bag is not so strong. The seams on mine tore on both sides after a year or so of everyday use. You'll also want to find a way of fixing the bottom of the bag to the rack to stop it bouncing around. I used a small length of bungee cord and a hook.
