Nothing wrong with the levers, they were designed for aero routing. I guess the hole on top is misleading, Campagnolo just kept using previous gen. lever bodies/hoods when they made the switch. And yes, L/R levers were identical.
That makes perfect sense now you've said it.
Should have paid more attention to the photos when reading about the brake levers.
