Carbon 'Youngtimer'

There have been quite a few interesting non-period correct carbon 'youngtimer' projects on here lately. I'd rather not keep the entry requirements too strict but I was thinking along the lines of bikes that are roughly 10 years or older and personalized in a way that sets them apart from your average period correct build. I'll start with a few of my favourite ones from the CP section. Feel free to share your own bikes or bikes you like.

Yeah, I ended up passing the frameset on as I bought a Moots and so all the other projects stopped and were sold on to fund that... sadly :(

is a 2012 Parlee too modern to feature here?

That Look 381 is a belter!! 🤓 I use a Cervelo S5 from 2011 which is almost eligible but feels far too modern in this post. Good work @Sig_Arlecchino

one of the very first full carbon fibre frames, kestrel and trimble, only able to post it because i've been to lazy to find a period correct seat post and therefore it's 97% period correct and can join

That kalloy seatpost is a great match for Dura Ace 7700, no need to change it imo :)
@mattyc too bad, I really like the idea of putting DI2 on it. But it's understandable that the moots takes priority.

Looks like a weapon... Do you know the weight? Lugged carbon frames are well fitting for a youngtimer build!
