When you enventually need a new bottle try the 12 year, it's even better and only slightly more expensive.

meant to buy that but I was on a short breaK In the IOW (hence the background) and supply was limited

There's worse things to be stuck drinking. I've been going through a bottle of Jura Journey for months now. It's 'fine', but mostly tastes like a half decent whisky that's been watered down 50/50.
