would you take your dog everywhere (incl. cinema, gigs, restaurants, theatre, work)? well trained dogs can be left indoors unsupervised for up to 4 hours. anything longer is not fair on the dog and of course there are special cases (e.g. those with high separation anxiety) which will need careful management and training
