Actually, has anyone looked at "COVID-19 exposure notifications" in their Android settings? If I go to "Exposure checks" I have nothing since 25 September. I'm a bit curious if the app is working for me.
Edit: I changed batter settings for it (allowing it to run in the background) previously but that did nothing. Just saw that there's also "Battery Optimization" which is allowed to shut down the app. I've now turned that off as well. Will see if there's any change.
Edit 2: No updates for a couple of hours. Rebooted my phone and it pushed thousands(!) on start up. I also got the warning that I had been near someone, but nothing in the NHS app. Hopefully the app updates properly now. Others may want to take a look and see if they're having a similar issue. Not very useful if it doesn't actually send/receive data.
