• Gonna post this here, as I don't wanna open a new thread for this.
I'm looking for a relatively lightweight, non-carbon trekking (whispers: gnarmac) wheelset. Plus point if they're commercially available laced up, but I'd kindly take recommendations for hubs and rims alone as well.
Rim brakes, 130 mm spacing, 8-9-10 speed Shimano rotor, and an external rim width of about 20 millimeters. Can anyone recommend some? Are these still in existence?

My current wheelset is from a Marin Redwood 1993, Araya VX-400 rims laced into Shimano 700CX hubs. They are not heavy, nor too old for my taste, but the hubs are getting messy, and I will some buck to upgrade soon-ish. Budget is... reasonable, so no CK hubs and similar stuff unfortunately.

Why? I can't think of a tyre that you'd want on your Redwood which wouldn't work better on at least a 23mm rim. cycleclinic will do you XR22 to Miche Primato in silver if you want to retain the look of your old wheels. For my money the Novatec A171/F172 looks more age appropriate, should be the same price or even a few quid less.
