That’s great. Reminds me of a wedding I went to once. It was shit and I hated nearly everyone there, but it was in an old factory building and there were some sweet scratchies on the window a by workers in the 1800s. Got a pic somewhere - will post if I can find.

Finally found a photo of one of my old pieces. Bit of a shit one - I’ll try and find some of my Bristol stuff, which was slightly better :-/
Edit: photo not uploading. It’s not meant to be!

A rare perk of middle age is seeing the price graf mags are fetching on eBay and stumbling on a massive box in my parents shed. Ker-ching!

Mainly Graphotism - I think I have it from issue #8 to about #30. Then Bomb Alert #1,2 &3, Hold No Hostage #1,2 &3, Over Kill, On The Run, etc
I also bought hardback books as and when I could afford, this out of print Cope 2 sold for £200?!
I found some of those annoying little Banksy books that my sister would give me for Christmas presents too.
A lot of memories tied up with this stuff but I’ve accepted I’m no longer the stoner, skater or a graf artist I was in the 90‘s/00’s and having a shit ton of just stuff is weighing me down. eBay all-the-things!
I’ve got my black books and shoeboxes of photographs well stashed though ;)

My brother was the street artist "Known".
Lots of people fraudulently claimed his work and he didn't mind one bit.

Sadly, he passed away recently.
I was searching the web for images of his street art to share with family and friends. My search led me to this chatroom and a couple of graffiti websites. I've downloaded some great works.

Oh shit. I'm really sorry. I wasn't aware. I hope you have managed to get some great memories. His style and art touched and reached many. Wish you all the best and to family and friends. 🙏

I’m really sorry to hear that - he was definitely one of the big names when I was writing. I have a feeling I met him, possibly at the Tottenham hall of fame. Wish my memory of those days was better!
Condolences to you and family.

Don't worry, you didn't know. Thank you for your kind words.
Listen, his mates used to tie ropes around him and he would dangle him off buildings and bridges to tag them and on several occasions he was nearly hit by night freight trains when he drew his train track artwork in the London Bridge and Waterloo areas. He did well to live for as long as he did!
I'll never forget all the train track artwork he did on the approach to London Bridge and between London Bridge and Waterloo East. I love his "Alien" drawings. He used to sketch on our bedroom wall, garden fence (had to remove that as the police were looking for him!) and sketch books.
I have download some great photos of his artwork to share with my family and friends.

Old Kent Road area according to the website where I found several examples of my brother's work.
I was mainly a legal (and ‘legal’) wall writer in my day, although I did a few tracksides and even fewer trains of varying description. I was never particularly good, but I did have the pleasure of painting with some people who were, over the years.
