  • I've seen the Albion yellow jersey in the flesh, it's a nice shade, halfway to mustard.

BTW they are, what I would describe as 'italian fit', I had to go up a size in their long sleeve jersey.

  • Anyone interested in one of these Rapha long-sleeve training jerseys in the lovely, deep red, size medium?

It’s a tad small for me. VGC. PM if interested.

  • If you go for this I have the matching Albion cap, unused. Yours if you can collect

  • I have the gilet in the same burnt yellow colour and I’d say it was closer to orange. They make nice kit though, big fan of the jersey and shorts they released this summer.

  • glad to hear that albion stuff is rated, as i am looking for bibs, because the only thing i have from them is a saddle pouch, easily the worst cycling product i have ever bought

  • I picked up one of this years summer jerseys from albion, I'd recommend - but yeah I would probably size up. I'm usually a small, bought medium and it's skin tight! Pretty shocked when I got it out of the packet, looked like a kids jersey!

  • Not really "stylish" but any recommendations for a lightweight packable rain jacket which has a hood?

  • arcteryx norvan, equivalent of gore shakedry

  • does albion stuff fit like rapha pro team? going to buy a long sleeve when they restock (they said october...)

  • I'm a bit slow, could never really justify the cost before as I'm casual cyclist and normal t-shirts seemed enough but my first rapha purchase arrived today.

I can now see why people go for it. Not overly impressed at needing to pick XXL (fat b'stard) but it fits well, quality construction. Even fits over the dad bod.

  • Sent an email to albion to query the jersey I wanted to buy and they've 100% swerved me. Really turns me off sending them 90 quid.

  • This is a quality video by Isadore.

    Edit for preview.

  • Back to stylish cycling caps. I had an instagram add for illimité and ordered a zebra. Quite pricey and in the end also just a cotton cap but the cut suits my head 🤷‍♂️

  • re the Siroko, I had an email today with an extra 10% off as I'd left items in my basket without completing. May be worth while if anyone is shopping in their sale?
I pshed the button so will report back when they get here

  • Bought two jerserys from there last week. For the price during the sale, I'm very impressed with the quality & fit. Delivery was quick too.

  • Who's selling jerseys that don't look like bike kit with with the
convenience of rear pockets? Ideally priced like the morvelo but
    subtle like Cafe du cycliste...

Going to answer my own question, the answer was...
Don't bother with a morvelo vest t-shirt - the fit was odd, had the wrong size and in black mesh, looked a bit sex party (whether that is pro or con, I leave with you).

Ended up with Assos trail liner bib short which are really very nice but a bit pricey. Been using them for touring and bikepack weekends and some hard road rides. The 2 rear pockets are very secure and hold plenty.

  • Spam: Just listed a Rapha Brevet gilet in classifieds.

  • For bibs with pockets I am really happy with my Rapha Core Cargo bibs. 8Bar from Germany is selling a copy of them now and Morvelo has the Overland Bib Shorts V2. I didn't try any of the latter ones though.

  • Pretty good...nice response to the gram and lifestyle brigade

  • For bibs with pockets I am really happy with my Rapha Core Cargo bibs.

The assos are nice, in that they are cut to be worn under clothing - so you can ride very stealthily in shorts/tshirt.

  • Does anybody know the difference between the Lusso jackets? They have Aqua Pro Extreme, Aqua Repel, Aqua Extreme. From the description they all do the same thing but why chose one over the other then?

  • Actually quite into those. I love cut-offs but they're wack for cycling.
