  • me either but being able to use a PS4 controller on a PS5, but not in a PS5 game when the controller functionality is almost identical... strikes me as pretty anti-consumer also

  • You missed out the "not".

    It's a meh from me, when have you ever been able to use a previous generation console's controller on the new one?

  • Now with Xbox one controllers on the series x

  • I know the PS5 controller has an inbuilt mic and haptics, but wouldn't be too hard for devs to work around that to let people use a spare PS4 controller for e.g. local multiplayer, especially when the controllers already work with the system and are functionally 90% identical. not a big issue for me, but would just be a nice to have and better for sustainability also
