I've got the wheels from my Scalpel, which have been in the basement at LMNH since they built the replacement wheel set - rather weirdly they're boost front and non-boost (but 6mm offset) at the rear. You are welcome to have them for free, for the price of going to get them.

Normal for Cannondale

Ah ta, but if they're the arches think they'll be too narrow for the phat rubber i'll be rolling on.

About £17k, plus how much to own it after 3 years?
-
• #18113
I would imagine slightly more than the remainder of the 50k the vehicle costs new.

Next year's models are gonna be interesting

what is the takeaway here?
-
• #18118
Love it, deliberately making a stupid bike and it takes six seconds out of a kosher race bike.

If you have God-like bike-handling skills and are only ever shredding some serious gnaaaaar on steep as fuck black runs, then you can get away with SillyBike. Otherwise, don't bother, cos it's shite. All it's really proving is that a bike built like a DH-only bike is only good for DH. Which is not really all that surprising.

You need a new bike
You're welcome

Ok. Where can you find good singletrack mountain routes. It seems that they are kept a secret in the Alps. Not bike park, what theyd call vtt randonee.

Komoot? Strava heat maps?

A year later and that yellow RSP is still working and still getting me muddy. Awkward shit like snapped chains aside.
A year later and dad is yet again thinking about a replacement full sus. He was recommended a Cube something-or-other.
You lot recommended this a year ago,
https://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/15903687/calibre-bossnut-evo-mountain-bike-15903687Anything better than that for the money now?

No, and maybe. But youd be guessing. I'd rather know what I am getting.
I found mtbproject but few routes.
Trailforks is slim too. -
• #18125
Yeah, trail forks isn't that established yet. When I was in Boulder they had a map that showed all the roads and trails and graded the surface of them. Maybe they'll have something there, but it's pot luck really.
Oh sorry, are you not? Guess i've only seen you near @BareNecessities as a reference point.
