I know, just trying to add nuance..
The only sub 500g 29" tyres I've seen are the Continental Speedkings and perhaps the lightweight Race Kings.

I appreciate that, I dont expect sub 500g tyres in a 2" sizes, its more than over two tyres its quite easy to add 500g in weight.

I understand.
I recently change from Vittoria Randonneurs in 700x35 to Continental GP Urban in the same size. The difference in feel was night and day and I think around 300g total.
