This is why I wasn't very fussed, currently on 2.25 on 19mm rims, but then again the Kona is 30% road bike, 65% gravel bike, and maybe 5% gnar shredder. Would be nice to not want to replace this for a while though. And I just found out I can take the train to the Ore mountains and back for 24 euros, so I see more gnar shredding in my future.
