Yeah I'm in no way opposed to Marino's work, but I have budding framebuilders literally throwing themselves at me so I'm not sure if I'll ever get to experience it myself.
What do we think of these clearances? Okay with some crimping or too tight? Tyre dimensions are as close as I can get to a 2.3 Racing Ralph, leaves just under 5mm to the tyre and 3.5mm to the 30t chainring.
This is acceptable according to John Prolly so I’m inclined to think it’s fine with a small crimp.

Happy to say the before mentioned quite heavy(especially now that the standert pfadfinder is referred to as pretty heavy in the gravel thread) Marino delivers. So nice Marino probably does too. Not to move business away from London, just saying.
