don't you need measurements?

Yeah I do; choose from here: https://www.bike24.com/p256412.html?q=FOLDIT%20FIX
IME 26" works best on small 700c bikes. What bike are you talking about? how is the rack attached to seatstays?

Arkose. SS.
I'll go measure it in about 30 min. -

Is there a better option for a large front load bag without rack than the carradice camper longflap?
Interested in thoughts and options. All the small scale custom manufacturers appear to be double the cost too.

Has anyone tried to carry a printer by bike? Once a month I do a project within the village I live where I need to take a printer. So far I've been taking the car, but I'd rather not.
I'm thinking a porteur rack is probably the best. My rear rack plus side basil basket didn't give a stable enough platform.

Would a small trailer be overkill?
-
• #834
I did consider that, but there's limited space at the other end, both for unloading and parking, which I thought might make it tricky. I have to take the bicycle inside sometimes, so having one unit rather than two helps.

Bought the Planet-X bundle pack as I’ve been frame bag curious for a bit. Not going adventuring or anything fun, just for commuting but I’m well impressed with the quality.

Printing on a bike, you say?https://www.departmentofsmallworks.co.uk/slowcoast-1
Edit MCamb has it I reckon - old child trailers with tatty fabric can be had cheap and converted to cargo duties fairly easily. A Porteur rack might work, but if the printer's anything like my old laser one it will weigh a ton.

Hmm now I need a minivelo with cargo platforms!
The printer is one of these: https://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=D9L63A&opt=A81&sel=DEF so not especially heavy (8kg) but quite bulky.
-
• #838
Ah, so not too bad; think mine weighs about twice that. Would strapping a box/crate to the rear rack (with removable cable ties or the like) and using a cargo net on top work? Otherwise it sounds like the thing a Porteur rack is built for.

I think at almost 50cm wide it's too big for a dutch type crate, and for anything bigger I have about 20cm overhang either side of the rear rack, which puts quite a lot of leverage on any fixings.
I think I might go for a Minoura Gamoh, as it looks like it should almost fully support the printer, and I can still use the rear rack pannier for my laptop etc then.

I'm after a handlebar bag people.
What're people go too? Don't really wanna spend more than 45.
Headtube strap is a must to stop it swinging when I get "sendy"

• #841
Have you got a link for this please? Seems like it fits the bill

In budget, with the lfgss discount code, maybe the Restrap canister
https://restrap.com/collections/bar-bags/products/canister-bagIf willing to spend more, I think the wizard works lil presto is brilliant and quite a bit bigger.

If the prop-masters on the series are anything like the star wars films then they're army surplus.
-
• #848
Yeah. They look like satchel bags bodged to fit tbh.
-
• #849
How big would you want them to be? For a rear pannier rack?

Can anyone identify this handlebar bag? Looks like the Specialized logo but can't find it on their site.
