Spray and wiggle, spray and wiggle, just like pissing in da club.

Is anybody aware of a method of casting sky go to a TV?

Not if the ratchetty bit is stuck "open" and not engaging at all. The grease hardens over time and accumulates contamination which gums it all up. Liberal WD40 works but you could speed things up pouring a hot (not boiling) kettle of water in the internals. Once something gives, repeat the above until it's smooth.

I was going to suggest a bit of kettle action, too. Is a hairdryer a viable alternative? I was wondering this recently, in case there’s something you don’t want to get wet for whatever reason.

I expect a hairdryer would work fine. I assume that anything made for a bike can take water and heat to a point.

I think it’s time to just kill it with fire.

What's a hairdryer?

It's used for barnets like this.
Me and my cousin when he had hair and I had a proper leather jacket.

Like everyone said, about a whole can of WD40 and lots of wiggling.

11 speed shimano mtb cassette on a 9/10 speed hub - is that a thing or did I imagine it?

Out of curiosity: How's the litter situation in London/the UK in your experience as cyclists, what kind/brand do you see thrown most in the streets and roadsides?
Here in NL the #1 is illustrated with this pic, #2 is McDonald's waste...

N2O canisters

They're actually CO2 and cyclists are to blame, OK?

One thing I'm guaranteed to see on any ride, even on the most out of the way lanes, is McDonald's wrappers.
They opened a new one fairly close by, and the sunken roundabout opposite went from being clean blackberry bushes to basically a McDonald's tip. It's utterly disgusting, but you know, convenience, money and no accountability come top.

I got a fan off ebay and when I plug it into my laptop it says;
power surge on usb port pop up devices needs moar power
There's lots of stuff on the internet about how to fix this pop up. But my question is does it matter? The fan spins.
It's pretty obvious that it's the fan causing the pop up, but surely it can't draw more power than is available?

have you tried a different usb socket? Macbooks are notorious for having different power outputs depending on the order of the sockets on the board.

Tim Hortons cups (coffee chain) in Winnipeg.
So ‘as new’ doesn’t necessarily mean working haha. If those shifters have been left for an age and not used it’s not that surprising they’ve gotten stuck!
