Also realised I never posted a picture of my last bike build despite having promised @iamnot who I bought the frame from an 'after' shot. So here's the Paul Milnes I built into a gravel bike for my buddy Miles (look how happy he was with it after he worked out how to use the gears). I sewed the saddle bag too but did't take any good pictures.

Nice build, nice thing to do for a pal. And the backpack looks good too, any more pics?

Thanks, and yes.

Cheers man. It's a really cool frame! Went with trusty old Sora for him.

Uh, that looks very, very good!
Maybe a silver seat clamp to match the headset? -

Very, very nice! Love these frames
Maybe a silver seat clamp to match the headset?

Yeah that's a good idea. I'll rebuild the wheels with some better hubs than the novatecs eventually. Is silver hubs and spokes with carbon rims a thing or would that be too much?
And thanks!

• #63
I think that sounds like a good looking idea - the red hubs are not a bad look imo though.
It might be a little too tame without a splash of colour. -
• #64
So good, I've always wanted a bike in this shade of green. What tyres are they?
-
• #65
Silver hubs and black spokes would be nicer imo.
Nice frameset though!

Yeah I like the red more than I thought I would. These are tempting...

Yeah the paint is lovely. Shade shifts depending on the light too. If it's ever sunny again it will really pop I imagine.
Tyres are 30mm Jack Brown mile munchers, on there for the winter. Going to get some mudguards too, probably PDW.
When I rebuild the wheels I'll do a 650b set with the novatecs. Looks like the frame will take ~45mm which should be good for summer 'gravel'.

They look smart too!
Something like this would be proper flashy though!

lovely bike, average tyres :(

:( Winter innit. If they turn out to be rubbish I'll get some pro4 endurance or gp 4 season.

Very cool

Wow. Seems they exist in disc flavour, but I'm guessing they're not actually obtainable. I'll probably just go for bitex or hope tbh.

Silver hubs and silver spokes on a black rim is classy. It would look so good on this

At first I thought Paul Components had produced some in the Van Halen anodizing, which would have been awesome and more in tune with your colour scheme - but those Phils look very good also.
Probably made of unobtainium though - I didn't even try to find a price xD
Made my first rucksack today...
