    Could you expand on this statement?

  • Here is an example of a perfectly good frame which has not been scrapped.

    Photo taken today at Radlett.

    As I think you can see, this is not a mollycoddled museum piece, but an efficient, working bike. The equipment comes from many of the decades after the frame was built (around 1960 for the main frame) even the forks are non original.
