More importantly, why the hell would a modern bike still come with 135/12. There was, and still is, no point to its existence. This is weird. I'd go on a limb here and say they're chatting shit and the frame is wonky.
If not, its such a bizzare decision.

Well I fixed it. Most probably the frame was a little bit bent. 142x12 is right and fixed now.
I took a video for better understanding. It’s a Rival 1 1x11 with the long cage. Something with the eyelet?

Agreed and cant be 135 x 12 with that shoulder on the drop out as would foul small cog. Hence my thought drop outs squeezed or boost/142 conversion drop outs fitted by mistake. Either way its Planet X levels of shittyness for the OP to deal with. It really is terrible that Veloci Cycle fobbed the OP back to the shop on this.

12 x 135 was a shit standard as there was nothing to locate the hub whilst you fumbled with the axle, and also the axle took all the load. Was quickly replaced by 142 x 12 about 10 years ago.
Hope still do 135 x 12 adaptors for Pro2 evo/Pro4.
