Ta v much! I have a feeling that they might not satisfy my vanity on full-lycra rides, but will pick up a pair of terras for the casual and xc times I think.

These are a great shout, and probably better than a standard bottle holder for my uses (keeping a little point and shoot camera in it)
Also whilst I’m in the Molle/military bag rabbit hole, these look like they’d make an alright bar bag (albeit maybe a little too long maybe for smaller bars).

Only 36cm wide, could be a great shout

Got this molle utility/airsoft as a bar bag. Cheap and well made.. Did away with the webbing and added some mini voilee straps and a bit of string around the head tube.. Brand is”Templar gear”

Do they squash down quite flat? Can imagine they're pretty good to have as campsite shoes on a tour?
-
• #6058
So so. The sole is about 1 inch thick so bulkier than some of the stuff posted earlier in thread.

The government is trying to criminalise trespass which would have a huge affect on wild camping amongst other things.

I don't read so good, but would it effect wild camping? It looks like the focus is on gypsies/travellers.
This legislation provides for an offence where the trespasser is likely to ‘substantially damage’ the land or interfere with it; the police may direct trespassers to leave and failure to comply with that direction is an offence. Trespass is also a criminal offence in Scotland. The Trespass (Scotland) Act specifically excludes the exercise of recreational/roaming access rights.

The petition misses the point that the changes can be used to target protesters, like the XR climate strike camps, no?
Additionally, the original consultation questions were absurdly leading

I mean it's awful any way you swing it

Also don’t expect the average copper to give a fuck about the intricacies of how a law is written. Like when squatting was made illegal in residential properties, but now it’s de facto illegal in any property because all any cop heard (or wanted to hear) was “squatting is illegal”.
-
• #6066
Yes that is of course an issue, but I guess that’s why laws are written down and not just whispered into a cops ear.
-
• #6067
Well yeah, but the law isn’t enforced on paper. And whilst you might find that the actual letter of the law means that you’re not on the end of actual criminal proceedings, this change could make for a significantly more unpleasant police interaction.

And when the police rough you up and you stupidly try to reason with them and tell them you’ve done nothing wrong they’ll cave your head in then falsify evidence to get you convicted of anything because ACAB

Managed to make the briefcase harness:
-
• #6070
Cheap podsacs (now owned by px for a few years so not the same quality that it was) harness and dry bag arrived, £20. Bag and velcro attachment good(velcro helps you attach it to harness when your hands are numb), harness itself, shape is perfect, buckles and straps are ok, has zero shape so just flops around with anything more than 500g in it.
Inserting some plastic sheets to try and improve it.Also "trekmates" hex tarp arrived. 330g on my scales that are accurate enough for non lab use inc sack and about 50m of basic paracord. Made of Oxford 150 dernier material, so a little heavier weight than a high end tarp, but the shape is good and its what was available, doesn't pack the smallest but it was cheap.

Anyone tried the Shimano PRO bags? The seatpack seems decent on face value (not even remotely waterproof but that's what dry bags are for)

Someone new in the market.
Fit and finish looks exceptionally good.

Nice! Like the contrast between cordura and liteskin. Bonus that it's probably also practical

Finally made my way from Birmingham to my mom place in Italy using the Rusjan hand-made and custom-made bags.
I can't recommend enough Lucy's work as @skinny would suggest as well, isn't it? :)I've encountered all the possible types of weather in 10 days and everything done by Lucy has been strong and kept my stuff dry and tidy.
Have a look here if you want more info: https://rusjanbag.wordpress.com/
p.s. @hippy thanks again for the precious tips with the etrex, I haven't had any issue at all following your suggestions! beer & pizza is on me when we meet , if happens :P

Blisters!
Standing around for hours in end in dress shoes can be murder on the feet.
You put the triangle up against the black cushion, with the little red arrow pointing at the black spot. Then fill it up with red balls. Then you roll it forward (it rolls in a straight line) until the little arrow aligns with the pink spot. Carefully lift it up and you have the triangle of fifteen reds in precisely the right spot.
