1Z1 is best for road use as it's cheap, quiet and corrosion resistant, but it is aesthetically challenged. #tartmode chain is KMC X101, choice of nickel plated for an understated classic look or brass plated for the kind of chavs who like gold plated bathroom fittings 🙂
You can get the best of both worlds with the e101EPT, which is the same chain as the X101 track chain but with KMC's ecoprotec corrosion resistant coating.
