Simon Yates can't go to Ineos though, whereas Adam can. Maybe they just decided it was time.

Does that recruitment policy still stand now that Ineos sponsor the team? It was very definitely a Sky corporate policy that they imposed on the team. I doubt Jim Radcliffe gives a tinker's cuss about hiring ex-dopers (though it would be very harsh to label Simon Yates a doper).
