Genesis Flyer 2021; will be alu and base off the CDA, not the Equilibrium anymore.
-
• #1003
Do you have a source so I can have a look? At some point my road fixed is gonna die so always on the lookout for new frame

Only through distro, whom have release little information other than;
- grey
- Alu
- Base off the CDA
- Disc
- £550
Bear in mind this is likely to subject to change, little disappointed they base it off the CDA rather than the Equilibrium, but can understand trying to make a simple singlespeed accessible to the general public as the 2020 Flyer however great it is, is pretty expensive.

Disc
day one then?

Look like it, the Day One singlespeed doesn’t appear to be in 2021 anymore and the Flyer replace it from what I assumed.

I like the ideas, it’s just a hard change from an 8kg road fixed to a hefty all round version.

Those track ends!
And I see they are bang on the 'downtube with more holes than yer average teabag' trend.

Strangely nothing on the fork blade itself!

Is there not 3 rear facing eyes and one side facing at the bottom of the leg?
-
• #1012
Mine is 10kg with pedals/dynamo/aero bars but it has some lightweight parts.

They are some of the cheapest looking dropouts I’ve seen. Looks like something you’d get from sports direct.

Downtube v fork leg girth is catching my eye too.

I'm in the market for some new wheels. Its mainly for the road and occasional tracks and trails so i run 38s. Braking surfaces required too. Fixed and free, just in case.
I had thought tb14 with Surly hubs....your thoughts and suggestions welcome.

Surly because you need wider spacing? Otherwise I'd go for novatec or whatever with sealed replaceable bearings, and some cheap (de-stickered) mavic rims. 32 spokes minimum. If you're not fussed about looks, the tb14 are going to look shit in no time anyway ;)

I'd go sealed track hubs (zenith have been good for me) and wider road rims. Typically I'd suggest xr22 for higher spoke counts or XR31 if you want to go lower however I've just picked up my DCR 24/25 build which look to be the perfect middle ground and a smidge lighter/better finished.
FWIW I had TB14 on DA hubs and the my Kinlin/Zenith were/are much nicer to ride on. Hoping the DCR's are as good!
Can’t remember if I ever posted this in here but I miss owning a drop bar skidder.
