No worries, I'm after a Knot bar in 40cm if anyone sees one.

Same as me, think there's a few of us!

Damn average size people!

Thanks! It does have the Risse shock. A tentative push on the front and rear and the shocks are moving freely. The head shock was one bit that worries me so it’s good to know it can be replaced.
I’ll look into the recall, good to know. Thanks.
It will be doing some light cross country around Hadleigh, but not in the mountain
Bike park. It’s been well looked after, a few bashes and scratches. But in general the paint is still sound and looks great in the sunlight.

Advice please: asking £450 for the 07 SystemSix frame with stem/seatpost and Hollowgrams.
Bad luck on here for many reasons and not a sniff anywhere else, am I being unrealistic?
-
• #13082
Yep. Take the cranks off. Get £300-£350 for the frame/fork if lucky.
If the cranks were mint and undamaged you could get £100 for them. They are aren’t though so you might be looking at £75-£50.

Thanks bud, I’ll lower my expectations accordingly

Any 56 Caad12 Disc framesets cluttering anyone's spare rooms?
Was hoping to buy dglshrn's posted a couple pages back but another seller let him down so he's got to hold on to it for a little while

Stop building the same dull bikes over and over again
-
• #13087
It's needed temporarily. Quicker and easier than building my own. Though I do have a box of columbus spirit tubes waiting for me

• #13088
nothing wrong with this!

one for @mk1mark

Aha, I've already been sent this - looks nice but I'm no longer a buyer!

I measured myself and it turns out I'm considerably narrower than I thought, so went for a 38 from Triton. Interested to see how they compare to the 44 that came with the bike, which feels huuuuge

Any cheaper/more readily available alternatives to the Cannondale KT012 lockring tool? Or anything else that could be hacked to work e.g. the £2 aluminium rod I bought from eBay rather than buying the Cannondale crank extractor bolts.
Thought a Park Tool BBT-18 was the right fit. It is not.

My one. Then sell it after you've used it once, like me!
It'll cost you the postage once you sell it on and i've taken the initial hit...
:)

Cross posting from CP: Thought this was a good deal at £550 and nothing I need to upgrade.
Cannondale CAAD10 frame
Campag Zonda wheels
Campag Athena 11 speed group set, 50/34 rings
Campag Chorus Skeleton brakes, Chorus cassette 11 x 29
Continental Ultra Sport 2 tyres 25mm
Easton EA50 bars, 3T ARX stem
Easton EC90 carbon seat post, Selle Italia Max Flite Gel saddle
Shimano 105 pedalsChanges (preference rather than necessity):
- Fizik Antares R3 Test, or 00 saddle
- FSA K-force post
- Fizik Cyrano R3 bars, 42cm Bull
- Vittoria Open Pave tyres 25c
- Dura Ace pedals
- King Cages
Planet-X have 53/39 chainsets for £60, and the rings seem expensive on their own. So might get one of those, too. Have never used Campag before. What's Athena like, compared with say, Ultegra 6800? Will roll with it for a while and see how I get on. Never had Campag before, so quite exciting -_-
- Fizik Antares R3 Test, or 00 saddle
Cheers for this
