Also, if they only changed something 16hrs ago, DNS changes could still be propagating.

I feel this is likely it. Just a pain in the butt they did it without notifying me and that it coincided with my first serious work since February.

Why not just use a gmail email? There's always risk with adding domains in front of shit, especially with budget DNS providers. We often see sites drop because the 3rd party vanity domains in use are using budget DNS providers.
