More than 100 bikes believed to be stolen have been seized in Hackney
as part of an operation launched after stolen bicycles were found
advertised for sale online. Officers from the Central East BCU
executed a warrant at an address in Hackney on the morning of Sunday,
2 August and found a total of 118 bicycles with an estimated worth of
more than £30k.

It’s got god and famous stickers all over it.
Anyone see it, please beat up the person on it. 2nd bike taken in less than a year... I am furious

I've sent a message to the Met to ask if they'll be releasing a catalogue or something for people to check. I'll post here if I hear back from them (they were worse than useless when I first got in contact, so my hopes aren't high). If anyone else can do the same, it would be appreciated!

I do wonder how many mails they will get for these bikes.

I like the unsuspecting buyers bit. I suspect they are in a minority. Or have I engaged cynic mode?

Hi, I’ve had my cinelli mash bolt 2009 bicycle stolen from a staff room in Morrison’s in Birmingham central.
Please keep and eye out on marketplaces etc . The photo is old but
The bike had sugino DDs, mack super lights laced to hplussons and a enve seatpost.

It’s almost more galling when it’s nicked from a supposedly secure area at work. I lost a caad10 disc that way a couple of years back

I bet the local police will know who this Jim Bowen lookalike is.

Somehow, I doubt your theft fits the profile of that outfit.

In broad daylight outside Marks & Spencers someone nicked my pack of facemasks out of my pannier. Must have seen me take one out and put it on. They'll have your shirt off your back.

Hi all, My girlfriend's bike and my bike were stolen today (9-Aug-2020) at around 11 AM in Marylebone on the corner of Wigmore Street & Marylebone Lane.

Her bike is a 49 cm Trek Checkpoint AL 3 black/red.

My bike is a BMC Roadmachine X, size 56cm, al black.

Both bikes are under one month old and are registered on multiple sites and police reports have been filed. There are multiple CCTV cameras facing the bike rack so hopefully the police can recover. If you see these bikes on Gumtree/eBay/FB mktplace, or if you are the one who stole the bikes, please contact me. Even if you stole the bikes i'll pay you off to recover them. We really just want our bikes back - cycling is literally the only fun we've been having post lockdown. Thanks. insta @thejoshbank works, thanks.

If your bike was of no-to-medium value you may get lucky.

In a previous employ one of my occasional tasks was sorting and recording piles of recovered bicycles.
I seriously doubt anything nice ended up in that backyard.

Quality or newer bikes would be immediately flagged and flogged or shipped out of the UK.

I realise this is probably very little use to anyone, but I spotted two guys with a tidy gloss black Pinarello Dogma by Canonbury station about an hour and a half ago and it looked a bit sus.

My beloved Specialized Sequoia (58) was stolen in Limehouse on Sunday :(

It's a sage colour and has a Selle Italia saddle and new continental 5000 tyres.
