One rather happy 10yo here.
She now has to decide whether to do Euro 2021 stickers or Premiership Panini though. #gotgotneed

Yay Fulham got promoted, Wembley must be our lucky ground 2 play off finals both win. Fair play to Scottie Parker not the fans choice but has certainly pulled it all together in the last few months.
Bit bitter sweet with Fulham getting promoted, was looking forward to going up to Bristol and over to Bournemouth, not many premiership clubs here in the South West.

Probably won't be able to go to any ground next season as an away supporter anyway.
-
• #153683
yeah can't see it till at least christmas... this letting 20% in will be a mess
Edit: just seen the away inference... totally agree even at fulham where you get a whole stand

• #153684
Fulham only have three working stands at the minute due to the Riverside being redeveloped.
-
• #153685
The Putney End at Fulham isn't completely Away fans. It's usually the rightmost 3 or 4 blocks (of the 6) are away fans, with the left most 2 or 3 being mixed/neutral.
Since the Riverside stand was knocked down a lot of the season ticket supporters from the Riverside were housed in the home/neutral seats of the Putney End (much to their chagrin).
Before Covid-19 the away fans capacity was capped at 1,900 as some of the rightmost seats were closed off due to the redevelopment.
Even 200 away fans would be able to drown out the majority of the Fulham fans (especially as the most vocal Fulham lot are way way up the back of the Hammersmith end).

So... Arsenal... shitcanned 55 staff. Disgusting
Wasnt there a load of grief about furlough when this all started?
-
• #153687
Are they going to 'do a Fulham' again next season?
-
• #153688
I find these things strangely engrossing. Chelsea still leading the losses league but there's some surprising names up near the top
-
• #153689
ha ha I've watched Fulham long enough that nothing surprise me, I worry we don't have enough strength in depth for the Prem. My gut feeling is that we will struggle first half of the season, then pick up in about March when it's too late. or we will going on smash it finishing in the top 5....

just watched the jurgen klopp / liverpool documentary, great watch, tracing both liverpool and jurgen through the years
what a man he was, right from the early days, a character, flamboyant and totally loveable

WTF is going on with bale at Madrid? Is he taking on tbe Winston Bougarde mantle? He a way to go yet but is he slipping slowly in to that state.
-
• #153692
Clearly he is not following the Alexis Sanchez path out of a hugely inflated contract. Fair play to Sanchez I guess but not sure if he is what Inter really needed.
Story has it that Bale has never really bothered to integrate himself at Madrid, prefers to be on the golf course rather than be at team gatherings and never got round to learning to speak español. Almost like your typical Brit abroad stereotype from 30+years ago just on a £250k a week salary.
-
• #153693
Hmmmm in thought he could speak Spanish just doesn't do interviews in them this latest rift isn't showing him in the best light. He still could play at another top level club but it's obvious no one can match Madris wages.
-
• #153694
You can’t criticise his performance on the pitch really.
251 games, 105 goals and 68 assists. Scored goals in 3 CL finals too.
Real Madrid have cuntishness down to a T.
-
• #153695
Isn't his current gripe down to the way he's been treated by Real? He didn't want to leave, but agreed to join a club in China last summer, who were prepared to pay close to his current wages, only for Real to demand a fee at the last minute, having previously indicated they wouldn't.
-
• #153696
Yes when I first spotted him, pundits the 2006 world cup, I did ask myself where did they get this man?
-
• #153698
on the subject of alexis sanchez
" Alexis Sanchez's Man Utd career worked out as around £28,800 per touch of the ball "
wonder if ozil can beat that

• #153699
Arsenal decimating their scouting department. Will they rely even less on scouting young players for the academy, pay even more in agent fees, or even worse have very limited participation in the transfer market?
Were they really that heavy in recruitment in the first place?
