Colleague took 6 weeks at birth (late last year) then a further 6 months later this year. Varies a lot by organisation.

Exactly, it could be 12 months + 12 months https://www.fairwork.gov.au/leave/maternity-and-parental-leave
Are you going to budget for him taking 2 years off? No, that's idiotic, you'd ask them how long they're taking off.

That made me cry 😢

I don’t think now’s the time to be starting a war with Aus

It's basically a Tim Tam.

Let battle commence...
I think I prefer TimTams...

Good that you're taking one for the team.

• #1434
It's a tough job, etc...

Penguins are shite, I can only imagine Timothy Tamothy are also shite.

I did my bit by evaluating a whole bag of Thai lime and chilli flavour bag of Kettle chips from Woolies, combined with Carlton Zero. Recommended combo.

I can't stand Carlton Zero, too sweet for me... Cooper's Ultra Light over here! I've also been snacking on Messy Monkeys cheese bites...

Fuck me that coffee dude is insufferable.

Lori hates him, I used to but I've grown to quite like him...

• #1441
Verdict?
-
• #1442
I remember Penguins tasting much better when I was a kid, Tim Tams are way tastier (in an A-B group test scenario)... A Penguin just tastes like a generic chocolate covered biscuit...
Life's a bitch...
-
• #1443
Tim Tams have always been better. Penguins tasted better when you were a kid because everything else when you were a kid was also made of dog shit, Penguins were just chocolate coated dog shit.

Have @BRM and Luc Longley ever been seen in the same room?

he is a freo boy. I've got a pic of me and him together when i was a lad. I'll try and find it.
-
• #1447
I like that Australia was so pissed he was missed from "The Last Dance" they made their own one just for him.
-
• #1448
Ha, yeah. I was surprised he didn't get a mention.

You can take the boy out of the country...
I'd rather budget for him taking the maximum, then arrange for after that - then there's no implicit pressure to cut it short.
