Hence why many helicopters are fitted with cable cutters, Chinook not though...
Any reason why? IIRC US ones do have them, and the RAF has a rep for low-level ops...
No idea I’m afraid.
I have no informed opinion on this but I did read that the US ones only really work on steel cables less than 10mm or so...might not acrually be that useful for a lot of power lines.
