To be honest you can pick and pickle at whatever size you want.
Personally we don't pickle very very small ones, you may as well wait. Hard to tell exactly how big they are but I would wait a little longer.

Everyone's got you covered, I used to buy mine at the market and pickle them at home... Now I just buy them in a jar from Costco, which is a bit of a fail... #csb
