Tempting, although have always used my phone so will stick to tried & tested. Hope it finds a good home.

I'm not aware of any, but think JK said he may have another go if his record got broken.

I get the same on the app, but my stuff is in Strava, and I can log in via connect.garmin.com
Long weekend for the Garmin IT department....

My Garmin Fenix 5 didnt track distance during a run this morning. Then it froze and lost the run. Quite a few people on the interwebs saying the same thing.
Tracked time and pace ok. Just stayed on 0 miles.

Apparently it affects most Garmin watches and not just Fenix. The fix, supposedly, is to delete all activities from your watch. I tried that and it worked for me.
The theory is that if you've had your Garmin for a while, the memory will be constantly near full and its the act of syncing that deletes old activities to make sure you have enough space for a new one. The Garmin outage apparently has disrupted that memory management.
Worth a try. As I said, worked for me.

I had this yesterday and this morning, lap button stopped working, no pace, no distance. Have tried the fix, but am yet to test it.

No problems with my 945 this afternoon. Just did a 10k run where the only problem was my lardy self.
(The 945 has ~16GB of memory as you can upload loads of music onto it. Mine is reporting 7.9GB free.)

Have fallen down the running watch rabbit hole. Is there a forum approved one? Ideally would also track cycling commutes and swims. Like the look of the Polar Vantages

I’ve had various garmins that were OK but preferred to run with an IPhone 5 in my hand (unless racing) strava stopped updates for Iphone5 so I bought a Suunto Spartan.
Suunto seems ok (as good as a garmin) now, but was an arse to set up And if the power is low it messes about uploading, syncing being of any use.
Waiting for wahoo to make a running watch

Waiting for wahoo to make a running watch
This. Would expect it to be pretty good.
I'm on my fifth Garmin running watch after buying my first one in about 2008. Have loved every one. Very few complaints. Other than my first (very early)Forerunner requiring 10 minutes to get a GPS fix and only having a three hour battery life despite being the size of a packet of fags :D

Still a few teething problems with Garmin Connect.
I wasn't able to get an interval workout onto my 945 for my run this morning. I could create it and edit it on the GC website, and get it on to the Garmin App on my iPhone, and schedule it into the calendar and that appeared in the app correctly. But no amount of syncing or swearing at it got it onto the watch itself.
Luckily it was a pretty simple workout (warm up, 6x800m at 5:15/km pace, 90s walk recovery between each, then cool down jog home) so I was able to do it manually with the lap button and keeping an eye on the lap screen (which shows Lap Distance, Lap Time, Pace) but it's nicer when the watch just bleeps at me and I can watch the HR screen and not worry about time/distance.
How much?
