4th place, FA cup final and CL qualification. Not bad for a first year PL coach. Lampard needs to start coaching defence and we’ll be alright I think.

Clearly I’m a bit of a pessimist, at least one part was right.

Those will have to face the mighty PNE next season.
Bring it on.

All things considered, it's been an amazing season... Yup, improvements in defence and a little more killer instinct in the final third is what we need... It's always a rollercoaster ride with Chelsea!

Marvellous idea

66 points is a bit miserable. Closer to relegation (34) than to league winning (99). Huge scope for improvement.

Mission accomplished for now, let the real work commence!

From an ideological perspective 100%. Academy players have had significant playing time. Some of them will hopefully be part of this team long term, maybe some of them will be sold for more money than they were worth a year ago.
As a whole we only finished 3 points behind last seasons total but the extra 14 goals conceded are a worry and not something that the coaching staff has been held accountable for. It’s not just Kepa that’s the problem here. Granted he’s had a bad season but our defensive personnel was largely the same as under Sarri.
More than happy overall, with Ziyech and Werner we’ve done some good deals early on which is promising. Ideally sort LB out next or just settle on 3 at the back and go with WB like we did under Conte.

Stu in the background is assistant manager at Clapton CFC and in his day job, head of security for Spurs. The Spurs head groundsman is coming down in the week to have a look at the pitch and try to give some advice on what needs to be done (as well as it being massively overgrown, it's bumpy and there are various animal holes). Also one of the grounds committee at Clapton is a gardener and has a lot of good equipment.
So there's a long way to go but the right people to do it, and plenty of volunteers.

The grass will probably need a cut.

Ake to city? I had v high hopes for Ake at Chelsea but just didn't make it through the changing managers. I think he will do well if he goes.

Aubameyang is too good for Arsenal.

So is Anthony Taylor.

Well done to Arsenal they played well. Once Pulisic went off I thought it was game over. And Taylor put the nail in the coffin.

Happy with the win, but I think Chelsea had quite a few poor decisions against them.

Chelsea had zero luck in the match, but to be fair it's about bloody time Arsenal had something go their way. The club needed that so so badly.
heehee. Congrats villa. Great end to the season that
