Makes a Quaife box seem like a bargain, even if you would need the 996 installation kit. Almost certainly not helical gears though.
I've had a long conversation with them - that's for the Mezger series of engines and (they've tried) cannot be made to fit an M96, apparently.
The M96 and the Mezger stagger their cylinders in opposite directions, so packaging and mounting is quite different between the two.
I do wonder whether a motorsport gearbox might be the best choice here, if we could get quieter gears of course.
