Where to donate money / food / time to

If any of you live in Lambeth or Wimbledon and have a car or a cargo bike, Streets Kitchen are supplying food to three hotels in Lambeth where homeless people are staying in the rooms. At the moment they're using the kitchen in one Clapham hotel to do the cooking and one of the other hotels is close by, so they need delivery volunteers for two tasks:

1. Getting supplies (usually from Wimbledon) to the Belvedere hotel (by Clapham Common) where the cooking is done.
   
2. Transporting prepared food from the Belvedere to the OYO hotel in Camberwell.
   
   

The first job is normally in the morning, the second at around 5:30pm. The OYO delivery is easy in a cargo bike, but the morning deliveries can more substantial since OYO only holds one quarter of the recipients. They're struggling to find enough delivery people for the whole week. If you do have the transport capability and the time, the link above is the best place to contact them and they'd be delighted to hear from you even if you could only make one delivery a week.
