Brother cycles... Cheap as chips frames

I'm considering buying the Big Bro frameset, can anybody share your experiences? I'm most interested in your experiences with tyre clearances with 2x and 1x respectively and with mudguards. Also, is the dropout suitable for fitting 12 mm axle Rohloff with monkeybone?

Saw these on the newsletter, whats the finish like? Was really hoping for a hark back to the sick fadez dayz. But get that its an anniversary frame.

I have the slightly older model that takes QR and I run it with 2.35 g ones and 65mm sks bluemels. Works good, the mudguards are pushing it a bit, but work well in general.

I'd been thinking about getting one for a while, but was waiting for a new fade paintjob as thought the metallic green was a bit boring. Saw this and thought it was at least a bit more interesting and now I've actually got it, I'm really happy with it. Think it's eye-catching enough, without being too garish.
