Anyone know how seriously I can take the Evans"due in stock" estimates? I've emailed them but no joy yet.
Looking specifically at a H3L, currently "Due in stock 23/08/2020". Can anyone in the know tell me if that's a pretty solid estimate or am I just as likely to be waiting until Christmas? Or is it basically impossible for anyone to say?

Bought a rear triangle on eBay, arrived and is sadly misaligned. Possible to get straightened? Or not worth it? If not, is it of interest to anyone?

Seconded.
Reminds me need to get more brake holders.
EDIT: The bit that the pads inserts go in to.

What did it cost? Not advertised as bent?
-
• #9067
I'll have it. The bits I'm interested in are straight.

Not worried as many as you have as I have multiple bikes...like the moulton.

Was this the one on sale by the same guy as the one with the ripped-in-half main frame?
-
• #9070
Yeah only saw that after...it’s likely from the same one, says he knew nothing about a crash...! Getting a refund luckily

Thank you for advice a month or so ago to grease the bolt that holds suspension block, it did the trick with the intermittent squeaking.
I’m going to order a Joseph Kuosac block from SJS which I think will be a nice little upgrade, are there any other economical little upgrades that won’t break the bank I should order at the same time?
Which London bike shops are recommended for working on Kinetics/alfine bromptons? I need to get on top of maintaining the bike now that I am putting down a good amount of miles a week but may treat it to a proper service first.
Gears have started slipping in the mid-range and I think both my break and gear cables are a bit worn out.

Does anyone know the size/spec of the bolt that attaches the spider to the modern Brompton crank arm? I need a slightly longer one than the standard Bolt (chain line issues with the fixed conversion) to accommodate some spacers I need to insert.
I’m sorted for the other bolts, it’s just this one giving me grief.
Cheers

Do you know how to adjust the Alfine?
I’d get on top of that ASAP as using it with the adjustment off is a quick way to wreck the hub.
