May be of interest to Cannondale fans. Also documentary evidence cannondales have been getting worse over the years.

85 posted (70+15, Shipping from Germany is spendy) if B0n0r doesn't want them. With SI plug, might find a Campag hiddenset to go with it.

What is the common approach for fitting different cranks, something like this?
OR https://www.wiggle.co.uk/token-ninja-cannondale-bb30a-shimano-24mm-bottom-bracket
Very happy with mine on my CAADbury, also fitted one (ceramic.. fancy) to my Kona Hei Hei mtb too since, as was impressed.

Dibs wheels when you realise they're too big for you :)

does it fit 25mm tyres ?
-
• #12963
It does, here it is with an actual 26mm width/24mm height, 6mm clearance all around.

Dialling this in atm.
As well as slowly reducing spacer stack.
Have missed it during its long sabbatical in Devon.

Here is my small contribution to the topic, an R2000 from 1996 that I just finished assembling. I will certainly swap the current seatpost (chorus steel) with an sp-7410, and the front derailleur will be also changed with fd-7403. Not the most comfortable ride but super stiff and reactive for its age :)

Working at a big cannonade dealer i have more issues with people who've tried to "upgrade" their bike with a thread in the middle BBs
Belatedly, but can you expand on what issues you've seen? I guess its something specific to the way the threaded ones work, as I'm running the Wheels MFG inserts which sit in regular BB30 bearings and have had no issues (although I also haven't ridden the bike in over a year at this point)

Saw that 54 purple one and was so close to buying but really can't be arsed having to strip my current one, sell all the bits etc just for a nicer colour... If a 56 comes along I might find it harder to resist though.
First bike I've owned which I don't get bored of looking at. I did manage to put a dent in the top tube dropping it on the bars the other day though so I basically have to get a new frame now. TCR maybe?...

Some lovely bikes on this page!
Tentatively looking for a 52 CAAD12 rim brake frameset in case anyone know's of anything. I've had 8's and have a 9 in 54 but looking at the geo think a 52 will be a safer bet. Might also consider a complete build if the price is right but keen to stick with rim brakes to use my new wheelset.

dang !
how bad is the dent ? the one i had on my rim frame auto-corrected itself -

Was always a bit sad at missing out on the purple CAAD12, and sold my yellow CAAD12 disc not long ago.
Next year's Supersix though....
great build
