• It is actually, although I've only done an hour on it on road since freeing it from the office. But that probably applies to any MTB that I haven't chopped the bars down on and fitted road gearing/tyres to. It's like riding a chopper with proper mtb width bars and everyone loves to bounce around on a duallie. I was going to pack it up for storage but I've left it running so I'll probably do errands on it for a while.

  • Yeah, I always wanted one and then wheels got bigger etc so missed the window. Kona had such a golden age where they came out with some real off wall stuff, the "A", the Hotrod, the Joe beach cruiser, the Humu. Looks brilliant fun for nipping around on.

    Yeah, I was back in Oz riding SS and doing 24hr team MTB races back then when Kona was a sponsor so I always wanted the Kona A and a shit, what was the steel SS they did? Someone on here had one. I remember they had the beach cruiser at one of the races.

    Explosif, that's the SS frame I was thinking of.
