Rock up. No barriers or anything, obviously won't be able to use the gate.
I haven't visited since last year so not sure if anything has been added since COVIDAlso Hornfair park is an ok little track.
And Norbury Park. -

So about a 3 on the Chase Hawk scale then?
-
• #17281
Dunno, manuals go a long way on mtb
-

Why are there two attachment points for the rear shock? What would changing it do?
-
• #17283
Change the amount of travel.
An old frame my mine had two mounts to swap between 3.5” and 4” travel -
• #17284
Yeh that’s it, brother in law lives that Side of Leeds so it’s on t’doorstep
-
• #17285
Your Kona "A"? Always wanted one of those.
-
• #17286
That's not mine, but I do own one.
-
• #17287
This is mine on the way back from the office the other day

So, assuming my rear shock is a bit shit and needs a service/replacement, could I move it to the closer bolt hole to reduce the travel for now without damaging anything? Or just leave it and leave the shock locked out.

Quadruple suspension with the balloon bike setup. All squish. All the time.

All squish. All the time.
The bike or the owner?

Little from column a, little from column b

Those ramp tyres are actually not comfortable because they have tough sidewalls for tricky dickys. I've got Fat Franks (their other balloon tyres, 800g vs 1000g) on the Inbred.

I got sick air off a curb yesterday. GNARLY DUDES!!!! RADICAL!!!
-
• #17294
Lovely - bet that is fun to ride.
-

It is actually, although I've only done an hour on it on road since freeing it from the office. But that probably applies to any MTB that I haven't chopped the bars down on and fitted road gearing/tyres to. It's like riding a chopper with proper mtb width bars and everyone loves to bounce around on a duallie. I was going to pack it up for storage but I've left it running so I'll probably do errands on it for a while.

That is lovely. I always wanted a Kona A. I saw a Sunn Bmix the other day, that was on my want list too.
-
• #17297
In my limited knowledge, if it’s a bit shit, it’ll still be shit in the other mounting.
Probably best to leave it where it is or get it serviced imo. -
• #17298
Had one of these crack recently, welds by the shock mount
-
• #17299
Yeah, I don't really want to spend any money on it. It's not like I'll use it for anything serious.

I'll bear that in mind when I next "fly like an eagle" off the gutter.
yeah pretty much
on waterlink way too.
