• Ha! No I’m pretty excited about getting them in good shape. Old mtb parts can be had so cheap that they should make pretty good bases for some budget builds.

  • Tbf, i'd say it only makes sense to build up that Raleigh, if it has sentimental value to you. The frame looks very heavy and of low quality, check out the ropey welds and the way the dropouts are joined to the stays. At the same time, you can get quality retro mtbs made from tange steel and the likes with solid lx/dx/xt components for next to nothing.
