Not quite the same Tripster, but this guy ran 50 up front then 45 in back:

They certainly missed a trick not adding the mounting options on the standard AT fork. And I'm not spending £400 on changing it.

Ultimately yes it doesn't really matter. Any width will work. And probably 23 to 25 difference is indistinguishable to a normal human?
But 50mm will easily fit your tripster.
