Thoughts on the build: absolutely love it. I had real difficulty visualising the build but I couldn't be more stoked if I tried.
Very happy I went with a Ti post/black cockpit. Even happier I purchased Nitto spacers that matched the stem finish. Also, I think the slim Sim Works by Nitto stem looks fantastic.
I reckon the Praxis cranks and BB look incredibly smart, too. So much better than 105 cranks. Gumwalls on Ti are a classic, to me. I do still want new wheels though. Craig even told me I needed a new freehub body so maybe I can swing new wheels instead
To be honest, the only issue I have is the bars. Not an issue per se, but I’m not sure the size of them/shape of the bend really suits the frame. They look pretty big.Maybe a 75mm reach would work better instead of these 85mm's. I do like the shape though. They're comfy.
Regarding the frame, I think the profiles of the tubing looks great, but I think it’s the proportions of the bike as a whole that I’m happiest about. For a relatively small frame, I think it looks pretty ‘normal’ in size. The headtube angle is without a doubt the slackest I've ridden but I don't think it looks unusual. I think the whole build still looks balanced. The slight slope to the top tube definitely elongates it, visually. I have extra spacers available to me just in case, but I shouldn’t need the stack as high as it currently is. The Cane Creek 110 looks superb. I am beyond happy with it's aesthetics.
