I used a milling machine. Found my datum using an edge finder and milled slots using a 16mm end mill.

ahh ok, i really gotta get a mill, dont fancy trying to get that with a file. Might be able to bodge something on my lathe hah

That’s basically just a stationary horizontal mill right :)

It's not so bad. I did these with just files.
