SSCX Only!

40-18 at the moment! With a WI 20&22 if I need to gear down

I took this season's losing bike for a not insignificant shakedown loop around the Chilterns yesterday. Aside from 40/16 being totally wrong for a few climbs the bike held up well.

Yeah I’m thinking the lower end of the gearing will suit best. I’ll be riding mainly Scottish CX courses which can be pretty wet, muddy and lumpy. I was thinking of staring with a 34/18 initially to see how I go with that!

40x16? You absolute animal! I was thinking today 40x19 is plenty on hills!

Did you pick up any cogs in the end? I have moved everything in now and can go rummage round boxes tomorrow unless you're already sorted

So close now! Just waiting on a new set of brakes and it should be ready to roll

Saddle is some low end Selle Italia SLR that I stripped. It’s getting replaced though cos it’s not remotely comfortable

some places still have the 2019 in stock. my local bike shop is a trek dealer and was able to match one i found on line for £650

I got an 18 and a 19, but could do with a 20. completely forgot about your kind offer. if you do have a 20 (or even 21) i'm listening!

I was Prince at Roskilde 10 years ago. He came on stage with in a white satin/silk flared jumpsuit with a nearly full size caricature of himself emblazoned on the front. Amazing.
