Having bibshorts tailored

Has anyone had much success getting bibs adjusted before? I've got a pair of Castelli's, which in order to get the length in the straps, the legs now don't fit tightly on my skinny thighs and constantly ride up.

My combination of tall and skinny means it's tricky to get shorts to fit, so I'm considering taking them to the tailor, but am a bit worried that getting lycra kit restitched won't work quite as well as it does for wool trousers. Any experience here?

You need to visit the gym not the tailor.

Maybe it's just the brand choice, or the cut. There has to be a brand that fits your physique.

It's a lot easier to have the bib straps lengthened than to have the legs taken in.

Anyone got any further with this? I tried to get a skinsuit shortened and rubber gripped elastic added but my usual tailor wouldn't touch it.

Resurrecting this, did you find a decent tailor in the end?

I had the ex-mother-n-Law shorten the straps of my Jaggard bibs. Much more comfy. But now the front is too high to stretch the 'little man' over. So Cock lengthening needed now. Might not og to the ex-mother-in-Law for this one......
